Broccoli, rice & real cheese casserole?

Question by jade r: Broccoli, rice & real cheese casserole?
I looked up some recipes for broccoli, rice & cheese casserole. The ones I found have proccessed cheese or cheez wiz in it. I dont like any of these cheeses..I like real cheese and this is for Thanksgiving so I want to make it extra special. I prefer cheddar cheese. Does anyone have a recipe that I could use?

try allrecipes.com or foodtv.com, also you could use real cheddar but would have to ‘thin’ it by using milk which is much like what they do with those processed cheeses. check out the ingredients on velveeta cheese which is great in casseroles and you could top the dish with grated cheddar and bake it…it makes a nice cheesy, crunchy topping.
