Butter chicken + basmati rice / Maurya Indian Cuisine on West Broadway

Although it’s "typical", we couldn’t pass up ordering butter chicken. By light, it is a strikingly orange-red dish and you can taste the tomatoes in the recipe. It is really yummy except… as the menu description mentions, chicken tikka is used. I kind of would rather a more tender chicken….

I like how the basmati rice has some dried onions or garlic sprinkled on the top of extra flavour.
