Question by Toni M: can you substitute this rice for that one?
Im making cabbage rolls and the recipe calls for 3/4 cup of brown basmati rice and all i have is rice a roni fried rice can i use that or will it mess up my recipe cooking this now

the rice-a-roni will have spices on it, unless it is separate from the spice pack (i haven’t had that in years).

if it’s plain old rice, you can substitute it with good results.
