Need ideas about making dirty rice.?

I am trying to follow a great dirty rice southern recipe of my girlfriend but it calls for “bulk sausage” and “chicken liver.” My grocery store stocks neither.

Any ideas or substitutes I could use?

look at other stores or like a butcher shop. also… in a regular grocery store you can ask where you can find chicken liver. like ask the butcher. maybe they can special order it.. I worked at a grocery store and we used to sell chicken liver. so yeah id say keeeep lookin and good luck oh and ask your friend too lol
