Does anyone have a good recipe for ground sausage with wild rice, onions, celery, and bell peppers. Maybe it’s a casserole. I’m not sure. Thanks.

My grandmother used to make this for us when we were kids. As you can see by my name, I’m 51, so that was a long time ago! lol I hope you enjoy it as much as we did…

Pork Sausage Casserole

1 ? pound bulk sausage
1 cup celery
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 packages chicken soup mix
4 ? cups of BOILING water
1 cup rice
1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese
? cup slivered almonds

Cook sausage, saut? onion, celery and bell pepper. Mix everything together in a 9 x 13 pan and bake 300 degrees for about an hour.
