What’s a basic rice and artichoke recipe?

Question by collectededitions: What’s a basic rice and artichoke recipe?
I used to have a recipe from the back of a box of instant rice that involved using some of the marinade from a jar of artichoke hearts to cook the rice in the microwave, and then mixed the rice and the artichoke hearts together in the end. Now I can’t find the recipe; does anyone know it, or something similar?

I don’t want to add any other vegetables or anything; just rice and jarred artichokes.

I make a wonderful ARTICHOKE RICE SALAD, by using a package of chicken Rice-a-Roni (according to package). Then, when it’s still warm, mix in 2 sliced green onions; 8 thinly sliced pimento-stuffed olives; 2 jars cut-up marinated artichoke hearts; 1/3 c. mayonnaise and 1/2 tsp. curry powder. This is a great buffet salad, because you can serve it hot, cold or room temp – and it lasts up to a week in the refrigerator
